What Is A Good Home Recipe For Wrinkle Cream?

Wouldn’t it be great if you can whip out your own anti-wrinkle cream? Then you wouldn’t have to worry about stuffing your face with ingredients that do not seem to work, anyway. You wouldn’t have to worry, too, about paying unnecessarily for expensive packaging, endorsement costs, and things that only serve to harm your skin. There are numerous recipes of anti-wrinkle creams out there in varying degrees of difficulty. If you are not really into cooking stuff, here is one recipe you would enjoy doing at home:

Yogurt-Honey Anti-Wrinkle Cream

This one is more like a face mask than a cream, but it works very well in diminishing fine lines and wrinkles if used as directed.

2 teaspoons of plain yogurt

½ teaspoon raw and organic honey

½ teaspoon lemon juice

300 units Vitamin E (about 3 capsules of Vitamin E)

First, let me give a brief account of each ingredient and why they make an anti-wrinkle cream effective.

· Yogurt. Yogurt has probiotics, which means to say that it is good whether you take it internally or externally. Yogurt drinks help restore normal digestive function, regulate bowel movement, and boost body metabolism, among other things. Yogurt, when used in skin care, rejuvenates skin cells and helps sheds off old skin cells. Yogurt gives tired and sun-damaged skin a fresher look.

· Organic honey. Organic honey has anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-fungal properties. Before the emergence of medicines, the ancient people relied on organic honey to treat their wounds, cough, colds, and other ailments. In aging skin, organic honey repairs damaged skin tissues, that is why it makes an essential ingredient in anti-wrinkle products. Honey can stand on its own as a treatment for wrinkles, too. Simply apply it on your face and leave it there for half an hour, no less, then rinse with warm water and dry your face. Your face feels softer and looks smoother in an instant.

· Lemon Juice. Lemon has antioxidant and lightening properties. It is especially useful in treating age spots, skin discoloration, fine lines and wrinkles.

· Vitamin E. Vitamin E also works as an antioxidant. It also helps repair cells and tissues that are damaged as a result of the aging process. At the same time, it retains moisture and keeps the water level in the skin sufficient so the skin stays smooth and hydrated.

Here’s what to do:

· First mix the first three ingredients, yogurt, juice of lemon and honey.

· Add the contents of the Vitamin E capsules in the mixture.

· When you have your yogurt-honey facial cream ready, wash your face with water and a mild cleanser. It’s always best to apply anti-wrinkle creams on a clean and dry face.

· Apply the cream all over your face, concentrating especially on areas where aging signs are already showing up.

· Leave the cream on for 20 minutes before washing it off completely with water.

This face mask is not intended for daily use, but twice a week application is desired for best results.

Also worth trying is the Papaya Facial Cream. You only need one ingredient for this – papaya. Papaya has skin-lightening and anti-aging properties. Papaya extracts are used in many commercial beauty products, such as soaps, lotions, and anti-aging creams. To make your own Papaya Facial Cream, simply mash the papaya until it becomes creamy enough it will stick on your face without a problem. Apply it all over your face and your neck as well and let your skin absorb the nutrients for at least 15 minutes. Wash it off with warm water. You can do this daily. You can also use banana instead of papaya.

As you can see, fighting aging does not have to cost you a lot of money. You can fight aging everyday when you stock up on these kitchen essentials at home.
